When I have looked at magazines such a NME or Q they have followed the same colour palette of Black, white and red. I would also like to have 3 colours, however, I would like to change the red for a different colour. I would keep the black and white because they are two colours which go with each other, as they are the furthers on the colour palette, other colours which would go with both black and white are: dark blue, light blue, green, yellow or purple. From this, I think I would go with: black, white and light blue as I feel that a blue or turquoise would be a colour suitable for both males and female. Finally, I have decided I'll go for: black, white and blue as it suits both genders of my target audience and the blue goes with both the black and white as it is separate from the white and black.
